just got home not too long ago from bible study @ millimongs place! i found todays session particularly interesting. somehow, it kinda inspired me to read the bible even though i dont usually have the patience to read such "dry information" so it was good yeah! :D
but before that, the three of us (meryl, justine & myself) met up at city hall for dinner. ate at cafe cartel. and from now onwards, im never going back there ever again. the food is, without a doubt, delicious. :D but the service is just so bad! thats when i begin questioning myself (again) why i even pay service charge.
grrrh. okay, maybe i just wont go back to the raffles link branch because service is one of the most important factors everywhere i go. ranging from pathetic petite push carts, all the way to luxurious fine-dining hotels. :)
even though the service sucked, i still enjoyed dinner very much. having proper meals out with any of them from sisterhood just rocks because we can just spill everything out to each other. and im sure we will go a long way together, probably still keeping contact after our marriages and setting up of our own families. :) love them girls. and b3 too! 10 years of friendship, hello? polytechnic life is so different. the people are different, far more hostile and distant. but well, im still trying to make the best outta it.
speaking of different. i have a joke. okay, its not really a joke, but i really think its very very hilarious. not mocking the person who said this and no offence at all if you happen to chance upon my blog. but my main point is, the people in polytechnic are really different and sometimes it kinda tickles me too.
(after the common tests have come to an end)
A : yay! the tests are over!
B : yeah! lets go somewhere!
A : LETS GO EAT SUSHI!
B : SURE! where?
so, when you think of going somewhere to eat sushi, where is the first place that pops into your mind? i personally feel that sakae or genki is one of the cheapest and most affordable places for sushi of the lowest, but okay, still can make it. (no, actually i hate sakae. i just think the quality of the food there sucks hardcore. its not fresh and definitely not worth $1.90 per plate!)
but guess what did A say?
she said : "LETS GO COLD STORAGE AND BUY SUSHI TO EAT! its cheap!"
LOL thats an answer you would
never hear from an mgs girl. the people in polytechnic are so different! and its just so funny. when i heard it, i immediately burst out laughing. goodness gracious. who would even think of cold storage for sushi? not that you have to be all high class and enter a fucking expensive restaurant for sushi and awesome sashimi, but hey, at least somewhere like ichiban boshi? thats my favourite japanese restaurant by the way. its slightly more expensive than sakae, but worth it. the quality is not too bad. sushi tei too would be on my recommendation list. :)
okay, 'nuff of all these sushi shit. picture time!

taken at cafe cartel. :D
and i look damn it
bald because im taking the picture with my right profile. me no like.
shakes head.
at the mrt station, whilst waiting for the train to arrive, we took pictures too! hahaha.
