HOME SWEET HOME! :D
and i bet you all missed me. hahaha.
vietnam was seriously so interesting. its something very different, from singapore. pretty run down though. but nevertheless, still interesting. one thing id never forget would be the traffic. its crazy im telling you. you cant imagine how bad it is. the vehicles can come in any direction. like three hundred and sixty degrees. there are no signs indicating which direction the vehicle should be heading. the vehicles just came in all directions. north, south, east, west, you name it. thus, crossing the road was one of our biggest challenges!
seriously, thank goodness i came back in one piece, despite having to cross a couple of roads. :)
on the very first day, we basically did shopping. so unfortunately no pictures were being taken. yeahs. didnt get very much for myself. only a set of pajamas (its surprisingly two-pieced! yesyes, i decided to get it because i thought it looked really cute. and i believe most vietnamese use it to sleep too. so im killing two birds with one stone. a souvenir cum pajamas), a handbag (which looks very much like yihui's, honestly. but i thought it looked so pretty, i just had to get it) and a jewellery box (bought on the second day. handmade by the victims of the vietnam war. but it looks very pretty. especially if you appreciate art, you would love it even more! plus, you would be doing a good deed, buying the box is considered as a form of donation). :D
second day, we went to cu chi tunnel (unsure of the spelling) its where they had the vietnam war, i think. very interesting. the environment was that of a forest? just have a look at some of the pictures. check out the trapholes too. goodness. anyone who fell down would most probably have died. :(
oh they even had this little tunnel for you to go in. its original! since the war. but i so didnt dare to go in. neither did the rest of my family members. it was dark (yes, no lights at all), stuffy (the air was extremely stale), dusty (which might trigger my asthma) and warm. so yeahs. i was so stunned when i saw how it was like. really freaked me out. so much so that i quickly ran up. LOL. :D

and after which, we went back to the hotel room, all tired. the boys were enjoying themselves! have a look.
telly + lappie = insanity. :O
and finally, last day! just went sight seeing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! just in case i cant blog tomorrow. would most probably be out the entire day. church in the morning, lunch with my relatives, dinner with my friends. :D
