HOME SWEET HOME! :D
did anyone miss me?im certain y'll did. :D
okay, lets get the ball rolling! will just follow what the itenary says and then the pictures will appear below that. most probably gonna have to end up posting thrice or even more because blogger always gives me problems with the pictures. rarhh!
day 1begin your vacation with a pleasant flight to Narita airport in Tokyo, Japan - "The Land of the Rising Sun". (meals on board)and therefore, we didnt do anything, but sit/sleep on the plane. somehow, i managed to sleep for about 4 hours. gasp. :O
day 2upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide who will show you the wonders of Japan, proceed to Tokyo city and visit the famous Asakusa Kannon Temple with a history of more than 1300 years. shop at Nakamise Shopping street, lined with vendors selling different kinds of toys, snacks, souvenirs and various gift items. Shibuya Shopping street is a trend-setting hub of many youngsters. Make a stop to the Ueno Flea Market where you can purchase some local food products at abargain price! tonight, we make our way to Haneda airport for our flight to Kansai, Osaka.swear it was horrible sitting on two planes in a day. and that probably was the cause of my bad hair. so i shall only post two pictures in which my hair doesnt look so bad.

now thats the first thing i ate in japan. its at the asakusa kannon temple. banana dipped in chocolate. :D

cant remember where we took this picture. but can you see my stupid hair? one side is curling out and the other is flat? OMG i hate the imbalance. someone kill me! thankfully it didnt look all that bad on this angle though. so ohwells. cheer up denise! :D
day 3this morning, we will visit the famous Osaka Castle where we will make a photo stop. check out Universal Studio Japan located at the Osaka Bay. with your passport tickets, explore the various interesting attractions such as Terminator 2, E.T. Adventure, Back to the Future - The Ride, Jurassic Park - The Ride, JAWS and more.
okay, universal studio japan is similar to that of a disneyland. but the rides here are themed with movies. i love the jurassic park ride! its like those water rides where you sit on something and then it goes up and splash down? you get what i mean? well anyway its like, 26 meters high (possibly five or six storeys high). so the thrill was definitely there, but for about 2 seconds only and you would be drenched from head to toe the next moment! :D a pity we didnt take any pictures over at universal studio. way too caught up with the rides and all. so here are the pictures at the castle, or somewhere near there.

see that thing tied around the bark of the tree? well thats to keep the little tree safe. it sort of prevents insects from crawling up, as well as attracts them there or so they claim. blahs. :D

and we took this picture with this plant so we can try to find something similar to that in singapore. hahas. our money plant outside the house is too long and messyyy! :D

another alternative would be this pink one. quite pretty too. daniel and i werent in the photo because we just didnt have time to pose up there. the entire trip was so rushy! :(

and a fast shot with the background. by the way, i was wearing our class pullover! haha. it aint that tight at my boobies without another layer inside. :D yeahs i was only wearing one pullover then. simply because the temperature was so effing warm. about 15degrees. its pathetic. boohoos.

ohno, wait! i did take a picture at universal studio. hahaha. at the entrance! because elmo's girlfriend looked so cute. :D
and then there was this parade where all the japanese went out to watch, leaving the queue to the rides less crowded. yeahs thankgoodness. each queue probably took about an hour. or even more. so we only managed to complete 5 different rides. repeated the jurassic park one 4 times though. it was insanity!
two pictures of the parade thingy, which my parents took while we were playing. the parade really isnt appealing to me at all. have absolutely no idea why those japsies are so crazy over it. you should see the quantity sitting with mats on the ground over at the disneyland. my my goodness gracious.

and the last picture taken for the day! :D
alrights, next post because blogger is stinking again.
