yayness to my new creative zen nano plus. :D
yes, it looks exactly like the one above. despite the variety of colours available, i still stuck to getting the black one. after all, thats my favourite colour. :D and so is pink. pastel pink. sweeeett. but pink for an mp3 player would look kinda quirky, dont you think ? well, at least i feel that way.
took quite some time in selecting my mp3 player. there were mainly four brands which i considered. apple, creative, samsung and sony. the salesperson said samsung has the best sounds, followed on by apple and creative, then lastly sony. but the advantage about sony is that it has the highest value for money. :D
problem though was many ipods/mp3 players were required to plug into somewhere in order to charge. so it works like a handphone. but i didnt really like the idea. so majority of the models were naturally eliminated. leaving those battery operated ones. what i detest about charging is that i would have to do so on a daily basis and as everyone knows, my memory isnt fantastic. i tend to forget alot alot of things. :D so yeah. and in addition, i might exceed the 10 hour limit. imagine if i had forgotten to re-charge the night before and if i were to study at the national library which would probably be about 6 hours. isnt it then that my mp3 player would have died on me ? blah, in any case, i prefer battery operated ones. :D theyre more convenient. so out goes the many many models.
then it was just between 3 creatives. i was deciding between the 2 prettier ones. :D the only difference between them is that the smaller one needs a thumbdrive to upload the songs into the mp3 player, whereas the bigger one just uses a usb cable which would be given. i think the thumbdrive wasnt inclusive or something. so yeah. i took the bigger one instead.
so how did the mp3 player come along, when im not exactly the type of teenager who goes for ipods and mp3 players ? :D
well just last night, i was whining to my mom about how horrible it is when i have to study without music. because house rule says i have to evacuate from the study room, where my domestic helper sleeps in, at 10pm. and the study room has the computer in which all my songs are in. without music, i would keep fidgeting and pacing around the house. so here came my mp3 player this morning ! :D i just love my parents ! they rule ! (okay, at least at times like these. when they actually consider my needs)
and i conferenced last night too. with jon, colin, ting, ariel and edwin. apparently ting's boyfriend was inside the conference as well. just that he didnt speak a word. and he actually told ting not to let us know that he was inside. uh okay. yet another anti-social guy. ariel and i were just talking about it awhile ago. then we derived to the conclusion that girls are generally more sociable than guys are. :D three cheers for the female race !
